From zero to your first automatic lesson
About a minute of setup. You need Google Chrome (or another Chromium browser that installs from the Chrome Web Store) on a computer, and a Duolingo account on duolingo.com.
Setup
Install Duobot
Add it from the Chrome Web Store
Open the Duobot listing and press Add to Chrome, then Add extension. Chrome lists the permissions it needs; the privacy policy explains each one.
Pin it to the toolbar
Click the puzzle piece next to the address bar and press the pin beside Duobot. The mascot now sits in your toolbar and opens the panel in one click.
Sign in with Google
Open the panel and choose Continue with Google. Press Use the free version to start on Free, or Unlock Duobot to get Max straight away. Even Free needs you signed in.
Open a lesson and press Auto-Run
Go to duolingo.com/learn. Start a lesson from a Start +10 XP chip, or open one yourself and press Shift+Enter.
Using it
The panel, switch by switch
Automation
The master switch. Off means nothing runs: no chips, no shortcuts, no Titan chain.
Titan Mode
Turns the main button into Auto-Titan. Nothing starts when you flip it. The chain starts when you press Auto-Titan or click a Titan +40 XP chip, then carries on to the next Titan by itself.
Natural errors
How often a question is missed on purpose. Zero answers everything right. Wrong answers cost hearts.
Speed
Presets for Slow, Default and Fast, and six separate delays underneath. Letter by letter typing is on by default. Anything below the Fast preset is flagged with a warning.
Mods
The puzzle piece in the panel header. Study tools for the lessons you do yourself, the path and the toolbar icon: Skip ads, Hide the sentence, Audio bar, Dictate answers, Study hints, All solutions, Remember answers, Hard mode and more. Each one is off until you switch it on. Streak Guard and the XP Farm sit at the bottom, behind a risk warning you have to accept.
Settings
The gear icon. Sound controls for voices and effects, and a backup of all your settings to a file you can restore in any browser.
Your Progress
The person icon. Your Duolingo numbers, the progress chart, XP per course, the questions you got wrong and what Duobot did for you.
Reminders
The bell icon in the panel header. Add a time and an optional note. Turn on the emergency reminder to be nudged every 10 minutes from 23:00.
Keyboard shortcuts

| Ctrl+Enter | Solve & Skip | Solves the current question, checks it and continues. |
| Shift+Enter | Auto-Run / Auto-Titan | Plays the whole lesson. With Titan Mode on it becomes Auto-Titan and chains Titan levels. |
To change a shortcut, click it in the panel and press the new combination. Esc cancels. Reset at the bottom of the panel restores every delay and shortcut.
Troubleshooting
When something is off
The chips are missing after I switched course
Turn Automation off and on again in the panel. The path is redrawn when the course changes, and the toggle puts the chips back.
I paid but Duobot still says it is locked
Open your profile in the panel and press I already paid, check again. Make sure you are signed in with the same Google account you paid with.
It says this Duolingo account is linked to another Duobot account
Each Duolingo profile can belong to one Duobot account. Sign in with the Google address you used the first time. If you no longer have it, contact us.
A lesson stopped halfway
Duolingo changes its site often and a new question type can stop the bot. Finish the question by hand, press Auto-Run again, and report the bug so we can add it.
I ran out of hearts
Natural errors cost hearts like any wrong answer. Lower the error rate, or wait for hearts to refill before running more lessons.
Nothing happens when I press a shortcut
Check that Automation is on and the duolingo.com tab is focused. Another extension may use the same keys; pick a different combination in the panel.
