01The agreement

By installing or using the Duobot extension, or buying Duobot Max, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Duobot.

02Not affiliated with Duolingo

Duobot is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Duolingo, Inc. Duolingo is a trademark of Duolingo, Inc. and is used here only to say which website the extension works with.

03Your Duolingo account

You are responsible for how you use Duobot on your account, including the speed and error settings you choose.

04Your Duobot account

You sign in with a Google account. Each Duobot account can be linked to one Duolingo profile, and each Duolingo profile to one Duobot account. Keep your Google account secure; anything done through it with Duobot is treated as done by you.

05Plans and payment

• Free includes 20 uses of Auto-Solve and Solve & Skip in total, two automatic lessons a day and one reminder. We may change what Free includes.
• Max is a subscription billed every six months. You are charged when you subscribe and then at the start of every new six month period until you cancel. The price and currency are shown at checkout before you pay. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a new price applies to your next renewal.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes are added where the law requires.

06Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by writing to contact@appduobot.com from your account address. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Max keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. Removing the extension does not cancel a subscription by itself.

07Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of any payment. A refund ends Max immediately. See Refunds and cancellation for how it works. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights that the law where you live gives you.

08Acceptable use

• One purchase is for one person.
• Do not resell, share or transfer access, or share your sign in.
• Do not copy, redistribute or sell the extension or modified versions of it.
• Do not try to get around the plan limits or interfere with our servers.
• Do not use Duobot to break the law.

09Availability and changes

Duolingo changes its website often, and a change on their side can stop part of Duobot working until we update it. We fix breakages as quickly as we can but cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features over time.

10Our property

The extension, the Duobot name, the mascot and this website belong to Duobot. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the extension while you follow them.

11No warranty

Duobot is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will answer every question correctly, work with every lesson, or that it is fit for any particular purpose.

12Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Duobot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the loss, reset or suspension of a Duolingo account, lost streaks or lost progress. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

13Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by removing the extension and cancelling Max. We may suspend or close a Duobot account that breaks these terms. If we close an account without any fault on your side, we refund the unused part of the current period.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will tell you in the extension before they take effect. Continuing to use Duobot after that means you accept the new terms.
